Alpine 36 – Settle In and Stay Awhile
More space. More comfort. Still built for the wild.
Picture a cold morning in the high country. The fire is going, breakfast is on, and there’s no need to rush anywhere. With the mountains outside and a warm, comfortable home inside, staying another night seems like a pretty good idea.
Meet the Alpine 36 – a spacious 36m² one-bedroom cabin designed for proper year-round living. At 10m × 3.6m, there’s room for a generous kitchen, comfortable living area, separate bedroom and full bathroom, making it ideal as a holiday retreat, Airbnb, guest accommodation or compact home.
With its bold gable roof, rugged dark steel cladding and warm timber feature entrance, the Alpine 36 has the character of a traditional high-country hut with the comfort and performance of a modern home. High levels of insulation, thermally broken joinery and double glazing help keep the warmth in when the temperature drops.
Inside, the vaulted ceiling gives the living area a spacious feel, while large sliding doors bring in plenty of natural light and open the cabin to the deck and surrounding landscape. A full kitchen gives you room to cook properly, while the separate bedroom and complete bathroom make longer stays easy.
Add a woodburner, hardwood deck or complete off-grid setup and the Alpine 36 becomes a seriously capable little home for remote blocks, farms and places well beyond the end of the sealed road.
Whether it’s tucked beside a river, sitting on a high-country station or looking out across a rugged valley, the Alpine 36 gives you enough room to properly settle in without losing the simplicity of cabin living.
